The festival is right around the corner!
This year I was honored to be asked to present my workshop: Storytelling in the Dual Language Classroom. So, if there are any teachers in the Dallas/Denton area the weekend of March 12-14, you might be interested in attending. There are other great workshops as well. For more info on the workshops follow this link:
Workshops @TSF 2020
I will also be performing my story, Xochitl y Papalotl, at the Fringe Concert from 3:30-5:00 on Saturday, March 14. If you don’t know what a Fringe Concert is and you’re in the vicinity, stop by and learn!
There are a lot of free activities for families as well. For more info, please visit the website at:
I will be storytelling on the trolley from 5 to 6 PM. Each ride is 15 minutes long.
I would like to thank Thenisha Smith from the Fort Worth Public Library Youth Services Department for inviting me to perform this weekend in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. I will be performing at the following libraries at these scheduled times:
Southwest Regional Library (4001 Library Lane): Saturday, 10/12/19 10:30-11:30 AM
eSkills Library & Job Center (2800 Stark Street): Saturday, 10/12/19 4:00-5:00 PM
Central Library Youth Center (500 W 3rd Street): Sunday, 10/13/19 3:00-4:00 PM
I look forward to performing for the Fort Worth Community!
I want to thank the El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department for awarding me a grant that will allow me to tell “Scary Stories” at five venues this fall.
If you know a library or school within the El Paso city limits who is interested in a one-hour storytelling performance, have them “Contact Mi!”
Getting ready to present my workshop this morning at the National Storytelling Summit in beautiful Fremont, California!

Just a reminder, I will be performing this Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 11 AM sharp at the Millennium Park Foundation’s Family Fun Tent. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Any fellow teachers and librarians participating in the LEND Conference @YISD tomorrow? I will be presenting a storytelling workshop and performing. Hope to see you!
I want to thank all the ladies who came out to my House Concert this past Friday, June 7. I really appreciate your support. I hope you were able to learn more about storytelling as a performance art and the purpose of establishing a storytelling guild/center in El Paso.
Thank you Erica Lakhanpal for offering to host the next House Concert in August at your home. Details will be forthcoming!
